A few pictures.......

Here are a few pictures of Paxton. I took them so they are not like Ricky's! Sorry! But I just wanted to post a few more of the cute kid I have!! He is doing great!

Another Rodeo........

Hunter had another rodeo on Tuesday night. Sage and I went to "Wicked", which was amazing!! Ricky took Hunter and Jade to the rodeo and a good friend stayed home with Paxton!! It worked out great! Hunter did good Ricky said but he was a little more afraid of the goat this time. He said it was bigger! He loves going though and loves watching everything. He is our little cowboy!

Jade also enjoying everything!!

A New Baby!!!!!!

Paxton David Bangerter was born on April 17th at 11:30pm. He weighed 7lbs 4 oz and is 20 inches long. He came along just like the others! Ricky and I went out to dinner with my parents and I was feeling some tightening, but it was more consistent, about every 5 minutes it would get tight. So after dinner we decided to just go to the hospital and see if I was dilating at all. The nurses never take me seriously when I go in and say that I think I might be in labor. The nurse was kind of rude when she asked me what I was feeling and how many weeks I was. They put me in a room and didn't come back for an hour to check me. They checked me finally at around 9:15pm. I was dilated to a 6 plus. So apparently I was staying and having a baby. The nurse was like, "I am going to go call your doctor"! I got the epidural right after that and then the doc broke my water and at 11:30 out he came! It all happened pretty fast! He is healthly and doing great! We love our new brother!

Basement Progress.......

So for the last several weeks this has been our life. Ricky sprayed on the primer and white paint. He was covered in white misty paint but it turned out really good. That was the way to go, spraying on those! It took forever to tape everthing off though and take off all of the doors and such. Then it was on to painting the colors. We would not have been able to get everything done if not for my mom and dad!! They came all last weekend Friday and Saturday and again on Monday and then my mom and Grandma Teeples came Tuesday! My dad was working on all of the electrical, outlets, light switches. While everyone else was painting! Thank you so much mom and dad!! We wouldn't be ready for carpet without you!! Then yesterday my mom and grandma came to help clean everthing to be ready for carpet tomorrow! I am so excited! It is almost finished. The cabinents came this week too, thanks to Matt!! They are beautiful! Countertops will come shortly! We are almost there!!

Then the paint....Hunters room.......

Hunter's Ride......

Hunter was really excited because Buck (that's the horse) finally got his shoes on so that Hunter and Grandpa could take Buck for a ride around the block. They make a big loop around where they live and look at the fields and other animals they see. This time they saw peacocks, which Hunter was really excited about! Thanks Grandpa for taking Hunter for these rides! He really does love them and talks about them all the time!!

St. Patricks Day!!!

Sorry I am backtracking a little. I forgot to post these pictures of our St. Patty's Dinner. We always have green pancakes for dinner! The kids think that it is the coolest ever!

Hunter's First Rodeo!!

We signed Hunter up for his first Rodeo! It is called a pee wee rodeo! It is so funny! His first one was last night. He was in three events: barrel racing, taking a ribbon off of a goats behind, and calf roping. Of course the barrel racing was done on stick horses, and the calf roping was a metal calf head! It was sure funny though! There are quite a few parents who are really into it though! He has a rodeo once a month now for nine months. Although last night he really wanted to come back and to it again tonight. He doesn't like that he has to wait. There are also older kids who are doing a rodeo with the real stuff which he wanted to stay all night and watch. He cried when it was time to go. We told him we would have to stay another time! This time is was freezing!! They had all the little kids stuff outside! Hunter loved doing this!

The best was this event. We laughed really hard because Hunter was trying to pull off the ribbon with two little fingers. It was so funny! I am sure he will learn that it would be better just to rip the ribbon off!

This we need more practice! Hunter needs to spend some time with Grandpa learning how to rope! He needs lots of practice with this one! You should see some of the little kids that can rope this with no effort!!

Ricky's Cat!!!!!!!!!!

Last Thursday March 12th Ricky shot a mountain lion! You have to draw out for a cougar tag, you can not just go up in the mountains and try to kill one. He has some hunting buddies that have dogs trained to tree cougars. This means (for those of you who don't know) that the dogs will pick up the scent of a cougar or the tracks of a cougar and chase the cougar up a tree. Cougars are really afraid of barking dogs. The cougar will not come down the tree with barking dogs below it. It really is quite fascinating. If you sent a mean, huge dog to chase a mountain lion, if the dog doesn't bark enough the mountain lion will turn around and kill it. Thus, you need really barky dogs. Anyway, last week the dogs picked up a scent and so Ricky's friend Chris called him and said to come up. It was up close to Causey Resevoir. He got up there and the dogs treed a cougar and Ricky shot it. It weighed 140 lbs. and from tip to tip was a little over 7ft long. When he took it to the taxidermist (Ricky of course wants a full body mount) the taxidermist said it was the biggest cougar he has seen this year!

These are a few pictures taken before Ricky shot it. It was up in the tree not too happy about the whole situation.

Ricky's Fame.....

These shots are some of the ones from the Polaris photo shoot that Ricky did in January. They recently released the pictures and these are just a few of the ones they have a Ricky.

Ricky is the one in the middle of these guys!

Sheetrock!!

The basement got sheetrocked in February! It is so exciting to see actual walls! We are really excited! For the last couple of weeks Ricky has been working on finish work, tile and doors and shelves! I will take pictures of those also! It is starting to look so good! Ricky is working so hard and I am just a ticking time bomb hoping everything will get done before the baby comes!

Hunters 5th Birthday!!!!!!

Hunter turned five on February 23rd! (I am only a little late in posting) However, on his birthday he woke up at about 4am and was sick! It was so sad! He was looking forward to his birthday for weeks! I had everything all decorated with his presents wrapped and he didn't even notice that all day! Gratefully his sickness only lasted 24hrs so the next day we celebrated! It was an off year for a friend party so we had our own little family party. Hunter got to pick where he wanted to go to dinner. He picked the noodle place (which is Olive Garden), I was really excited about this choice. We went to dinner and then after came back for cake and ice cream. Grandma Webster and Grandpa and Grandma Bangerter came for ice cream and cake. We love Hunter so much! He is our little cowboy! We wouldn't know what to do without him!
